Growing Together

Part of our mission at the Patch at Blossom Ridge is to build community. We love the area we live in and bringing people together can be such a blessing. This summer we had a few different groups of neighbors and friends come out to help pull weeds in the pumpkin patch.

In July, several young people came to work together to clear out bed #3. There was a lot of laughter, singing (of course we had music playing) and dirty gloves. After a few hours the kids had swept through the garden bed and a pile of weeds grew along the outside edges.

It was a great day and a true labor of love to see these outstanding young people working together in God's creation. If you come this fall you can appreciate how different the 6 beds all look. I'd bet bed #3 is still one of the clearer areas!
