Things to Know

Here are a list of questions that you may have and answers that will help make your experience at The Patch more enjoyable.

Is it easy to find The Patch?

Yes. The Patch is located at 13651 Lone Tree Rd. just south of Buffalo Gap, S.D. We have a sign along highway 79 and additional signs 1.5 miles down the gravel road that will lead you straight to us. You can also find using your map app.

What type of clothing should I wear?

Since The Patch is an active farm in the rolling foothills of Fall River county we reccommend wearing closed-toe shoes with socks. There are cactus and some sharp weeds around the property and wood chips in the pumpkin beds. Wear what you're comfortable in, remember the evenings do cool down a bit this time of year.

Is there a general admission to get onto the farm?

Yes. There is an admission charge for all guests. There are several activities to enjoy and we encourage all of our guests to try their hand at one of the games and activities around The Patch. Walk up our prayer trail to the scenic overview, play a round of croquet or even take a ride down the culvert slide...there is something for everyone!

What form of payments do you accept?

We accept cash and major credit cards using square payment.

Do you have food for sale?

Yes. In our Seed Shack we have a variety of snacks, deserts and beverages. Occasionally we have food truck vendors but check out social media to see if there is anyone booked the weekend you're planning to visit. We invite you to bring picnic style snacks if you'll be at The Patch over meal time.

Can we bring our dogs?

No. We kindly ask that you keep your pets at home since we have liestock and animals to help prevent pests in and around The Patch.

Can we schedule a group tour at The Patch?

You bet! We are booking field trips and special group tours at the patch. Just email Jackie at blossomridge605@outlook.com to find available dates and full details.
